Well-placed monitoring camera

Why does one of the monitoring cameras in the subway station Unionkreuzung have to point exactly at the input keyboard of the cash machine there? That makes me kind of nervous.

Doesn't matter much here in Vienna. The new cash machines are so damn slow-responding that you can't enter a number in such a quick way that nobody is able to observe you.
